OC, MD & Amy Schumer

Rather than a stereotypical "This is my first blog post, here are my goals, and I'm going to write X number of times, blah blah" that I feel I write in every single journal/diary/blog I try and start, I'm diving right into my life here. Hold on tight...

After losing power on Friday night (thereby losing the ability to do homework or pack from my impending move) I found myself heading to Ocean City to crash a friend's bachelorette party. All in all a great weekend, found myself wishing there wasn't a tornado warning all day Saturday, but we had a great time.

Of note: 7 different people approached me to tell me I look like Amy Schumer. Not entirely sure if that's a compliment, but hearing it that many times was incredibly bizarre especially in such a short period of time. The first time I heard this was actually at work, when the Orioles bird who I was escorting through the hospital asked me from within the confine's of his lovely outfit. He said it was more my mannerisms, but also slightly my looks. This all transpired within three months, so I guess perhaps it's becoming more and more true. Not sure how I feel about it, but after seeing her most recent move and her stint on The Bachelorette I can see some parallels in our behaviors.

Thing to look into: What would be entailed in becoming an Amy Schumer impersonator? Would this be profitable? Doubtful, but hey I could dye my hair blonde and see what happens.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the weekend, I saw dolphins in the wild for the first time in my life on Sunday. I was so happy I cried...don't mind my obnoxious commentary but feel free to share the moment with me below.
